Talk Shop

Where do people go to shop in Pennsylvania? The possibilities are endless, and we couldn't possibly cover all of them. That's why we provided this page.

If we didn't mention your favorite place, submit your suggestion. If you send us some good advice, we'll post it right here in Talk Shop for our shopping experts to see. Here's what our visitors are saying...

Prime Outlets at Grove City, Grove City
As an avid shopper in western and central Pennsylvania, Grove City's Prime Outlets are by far the best outlets in the Commonwealth. Located near the interchanges for both I-80 and I-79, Grove City's outlets provide much more selection than driving into Pittsburgh's suburban malls. However, nothing beats shopping in downtown Pittsburgh during the holidays.

The Corinthian Room, Philadelphia
Oh... how we still love shopping and dining on the 6th floor Corinthian Room Restaurant in the heart of Philadelphia, at 8th and Market. We love the malls, too, but when it comes to the real thing, there is nothing like the downtown experience. Philadelphia is still blessed to have three major market department stores downtown on Market Street!

Girlfriends Getaway, Reading
My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Reading PA. Our expectations were to get away and enjoy time together as family and best of friends. Everything about our weekend far exceeded our expectations. We were pampered at the spa, dined sufficiently at the hotel and literally "shopped until we dropped". We look forward to a return visit.

Park City Center, Lancaster
You mentioned shopping in Harrisburg and Lancaster without mentioning Park City. I love this mall because it has many clothing boutiques. Plus, Kohl's has some awesome sales. As a mother of three, I can appreciate the play area for the children. It's something they look forward to. My youngest is always excited to go there to ride the old-fashioned Carousel. This is my favorite mall by far.
